SOLO (Linda on piano -optional vocals) or THE COMBO (2 to 5 pieces) Hundreds of past clients have turned to Linda to create the elegant background ambiance for their cocktail party, or to accompany their guests who want to sing, or to be the main attraction herself as vocalist / pianist. She is one of those performers who can "play anything" by ear or with the sheet music. When the client wants the combo to set an elegant tone for the event, these musicians are matchless in their musicianship and breadth of jazz repertoire. They've performed for hundreds of Bay Area parties, weddings, jazz festivals, live on KGO Radio (played live on the air 2006 & 2007 -jazz & swing for Ray Taliaferro show (KGO) - Cure-A-Thon), etc. (Note: the combo can later "switch gears" and play tasty dance music). The background music styles (solo piano or combo) include:

LINDA WIGGINS AND "FINESSE" (dance band ------ 3 to 7 musicians)

This band is probably the most versatile dance band in the Bay Area (their repertoire list of over 1,000 songs covers a myriad of music styles, including Motown, R&B, funk, swing, rock and roll, blues, romantic ballads, the tastiest of pop tunes, and even some Cosmopolitan, French, Italian and Spanish), drawn from years of experience at playing a wide variety of events. Above all, they will play the music styles and songs you want to hear at your event. The band can sometimes be "auditioned" in person at public jobs (though the majority of performances are at private functions). Free Sept 2010 public perf: Sun Sept 12 (8am-12 noon) outdoors at the Albany (Calif) Veterans Park. 1325 Portland Ave @ Carmel....note: this park is c. 4 blocks north of the Solano Stroll, so you can go catch Linda's band (yes, they take requests, but will be playing a wide variety of music anyway...and the Lions Club is hosting an adjacent pancake breakfast.) and then go on to the huge Solano Stroll.
